Veteran Transition Panel

The Panel: Me (second from right) with some great military veterans succeeding in industry and life.

Was honored and excited to be invited to sit on a panel along with some great military veterans in industry for a discussion with Rady School of Management veteran students. It was a career panel for the Rady Veteran’s group of evening and weekend MBA students.  The topic for discussion was career transition from military service to the private sector or entrepreneurship. Some of the students have already left active duty and others are planning to over the next 6 to 12 months.  Their future looks bright!

I talked about my THREE transitions from the military, and about how the one I thought would be the easiest (and so I didn’t prepare for it) turned out to be the hardest; a topic I dive into with my upcoming memoir. That is if I can actually get it turned into a published book!
